Battle Pilgrim – Bretonnian MDPS

There are men who fight for glory. There are men who fight for honor. There are men who fight for king and country. And then there are men who fight for plunder, it is of these that the Battle Pilgrims are made. Their loyalty lies with Bretonnia in as much as following their kinsmen ensures glorious battles and bountiful plunder. However, they are just as eager to plunder a fallen Grail Knight as they are a fallen orc. They have even been known to cut off fingers off our knights before they even expired. Battle Pilgrim

Archtype – Melee DPS

Armor – Medium

Weapon – Sword, Hammer, or Mace and Shield

Mechanic – Relics of the Fallen

  • Your drive in battle is powered by your lust for relics of fallen warriors. You have a pool of 0-100 Holy Relics. You have a buff called “Relic Scavenger” which will become usable when you are within 80 feet of a corpse. You can scavenge a corpse for 15 Holy Relic points. Also, you gain 25 Holy Relic points when you land a killing blow on your enemy. Your Holy Relic points will decay after one minute of being out of combat.

Mastery Trees

  • Soldier – A focus on toe to toe single combat
  • Fanatic – A focus on wild combat causing wide-spread or long lasting damage
  • Plunderer – A focus on attacking your targets from behind

R1. Relic Scavenger <Core Ability> If a fresh corpse is within 80 feet of you this ability will become available allowing you to harvest 15 Holy Relic points. This ability will build while moving. No Cost, .5s Cast, No CD

R1. Bolt Shot <Core Ability> You fire a small crossbow at your enemy that inflicts ‘x’ damage. 20AP, 1s Cast, No CD, 65ft Range

R1. Harrow <Soldier> You assault your enemy relentlessly dealing ‘x’ damage to them. 25AP, Instant Cast, No CD

R2. Internal Rupture <Fanatic> You slam your weapon fiercely into your enemy causing them to bleed from within, dealing ‘x’ damage every second for 7 seconds. 30AP, Instant Cast, No CD

R3. Back Grazer <Plunderer> You slide your weapon across your enemy’s back causing them to take ‘x’ damage every second for 5 seconds. Target must be facing away from you. 30AP, Instant Cast, 5s CD

R4. Knee-Breaker <Fanatic> You slam your weapon into your opponents knees causing ‘x’ damage and reducing their movement speed by 40% for 10 seconds. At 25 Holy Relic points this ability will do an additional ‘x’ damage every second for 3 seconds; the damage value of the damage-over-time increases with each additional 25 Holy Relic Points. 30AP, Instant Cast, 10s CD

R5. Mail Crusher <Plunderer> You drive your weapon into your opponents back ignoring 25% of their armor and dealing ‘x’ damage. Target must be facing away from you. 35AP, Instant Cast, No CD

R6. Mind Jolt <Soldier> You whack your enemy in the head causing some trauma, you deal ‘x’ damage and cause all your enemy’s abilities to gain 1 second to their cool downs for 10 seconds. 35AP, Instant Cast, 10s CD

R7. Hammer and Anvil <Soldier> You catch your enemy’s blade between your weapon and your shield and rip it from their hand, disarming them for 4 seconds. Requires Block. This ability costs 15 Holy Relic points. 30AP, Instant Cast, 15s CD

R8. Sever Nerve <Archtype Morale 1> A directed strike which deals 1200 damage to your target.

R8. Kidney Blow <Plunderer> You land a blow to your enemy’s lower back dealing ‘x’ damage and reducing their toughness by ‘x’ for 15 seconds. At 25 Holy Relic points this ability will debuff an additional ‘x’ toughness; for every additional 25 Holy Relic points the value debuffed is increased by ‘x’. Target must be facing away from you. 30AP, Instant Cast, 5s CD

R9. Mage’s Tongue <Fanataic> You apply the ‘Holy Relic’ of a bygone mage’s tongue to your weapon and hit your enemy; your enemy takes ‘x’ damage every second they are casting a spell for 10 seconds. 30AP, Instant Cast, 10s CD

R10. Leper’s Shawl <Detaunt> Detaunts all enemies within 30 feet, making them to hate you less and causing them to deal 50% less damage to you for 15 seconds. If you attack anyone you have detaunted, the effect will immediately end. 20AP, Instant Cast, 15s CD

R10. Frenzied Rush <Core Ability> You charge into the thick of battle, increasing your movement speed by 50 for 7 seconds. If you use any abilities this effect will immediately end. No Cost, Instant Cast, 30s CD

R11. Gallantry War <Racial Tactic> You heed the call to war and your Action Points pool is increased by 50

R12. Force of Will <Archtype Morale 2> You stare down your opponent draining 200 of their Action Points into yourself, and reducing their strength by 160 for 30 seconds.

R12. Drive for Relics <Core Ability> For 7 seconds your abilities will ignore any positional requirements.

R13. Jagged Edge <Archtype Tactic> Any time you critically hit an enemy they will begin to bleed, suffering additional 609 corporeal damage over 9 seconds.

R14. Voice of the Dead <Plunderer> You get behind your opponent and deal a powerful blow to his neck, dealing ‘x’ damage and silencing them for 3 seconds. Target must be facing away from you. This ability costs 15 Holy Relic Points. 30AP, Instant Cast, 15s CD

R15. Eye for Treasure <Tactic> The range for Relic Scavenger is increased to 100 feet

R16. Giant’s Brawn <Soldier> You use the ‘Holy Relic’ of a fallen giant and hit your opponent with great might dealing ‘x’ damage and increasing your strength by ‘x’ for 10 seconds. At 25 Holy Relic points this ability will increase your strength by an additional ‘x’; for every additional 25 Holy Relic points the value is increased by ‘x’. 35AP, Instant Cast, 5s CD

R16. Confusing Movements <Archtype Morale 1> Concentrating on your perceived movements, you will be able to Dodge and Parry all attacks against you for 10 seconds.

R17. Pure of Blood <Racial Tactic> Your corporeal resistance is increased by 252

R18. Icon of the Lady of the Lake <Core Ability> You use your skill to get out of any snares or roots that may be holding you down. For the next 10 seconds, snares and roots will have no effect on you. 45AP, Instant Cast, 60s CD

R19. Brute Force <Archtype Tactic> Increases your Strength by 160

R20. Blind Rage <Fantatic> You rashly swing your weapon and deal ‘x’ damage to three opponents within 25 feet of you. At 25 Holy Relic points  you hit an additional person; for every additional 25 Holy Relic points you hit an additional person for a maximum of up to 7 people at 100 Holy Relic points. 35AP, Instant Cast, 3s CD

R20. Relentless Assault <Archtype Morale 2> A prolonged fervor that grants 10 Action Points to everyone in your group within 100 feet for 10 seconds.

R21. Bite Your Tongue <Tactic> The duration of Mage’s Tongue is increased to 15 seconds

R23. King’s Own <Racial Tactic> Your damage output is increased by 10%

R24. Broad Swings <Archtype Morale 3> All of your attacks for the next 10 seconds will strike up to 2 additional enemies within 25 feet in front of you.

R25. Flanking <Archtype Tactic> All of your attacks deal 15% more damage when you strike an enemy from the sides or rear.

R25. Powdered Pox <Plunderer> You lace your weapon with an infectious disease and hit your opponent from behind dealing ‘x’ damage and reducing their initiative by ‘x’ for 15 seconds. At 25 Holy Relic points the amount of initiative you debuff is increased by ‘x’; for every additional 25 Holy Relic points the amount of initiative debuffed is increased by ‘x’. 40AP, Instant Cast, 10s CD

R27. Shield March <Tactic> Anytime you block an attack, your chance to dodge and disrupt is increased by 10%

R28. Knee Swipe <Battle Pilgrim Morale 1> You swing your weapon low and reduce the movement speed of all enemies within 30 feet of you by 40% for 10 seconds

R29. Riposte <Archtype Tactic> Each time you parry an enemy’s attack, you will strike them back for 274 damage which they can not prevent.

R30. Shield of Gilles <Soldier> You use the ‘Holy Relic’ of Gilles of Bretonnia increasing your chance to block attacks by 2% for 10 seconds. At 25 Holy Relic points your chance to block is increased by 2%; for each additional 25 Holy Relic points your chance to block is increased by 2% for a maximum of 10% increased chance to block at 100 Holy Relic points. 40AP, Instant Cast, 10s CD

R31. Savior of Bretonnia <Tactic> Shield of Gilles base block buff is increased to 6%

R32. Tears of Bretonnia <Battle Pilgrim Morale 2> Your damage output is increased by 50% for 7 seconds

R33. Hoarding Treasures <Tactic> Out of combat, you can retain 25 Holy Relic points

R35. Fires of Aqshy <Fantatic> You call upon the ‘Holy Relic’ of the fire College and release a cone of damage, dealing ‘x’ damage to all enemies 40 feet in front of you. This ability costs 10 Holy Relic Points. 35AP, Instant Cast, No CD

R35. Divine Relics <Tactic> All abilities that consume Holy Relic points cost no Action Points, but cost 10 more Holy Relic points

R36. Righteous Fist <Battle Pilgrim Morale 3> You deal 1000 damage to a single target

R37. Burning Trails <Tactic> The Fires of Aqshy has a 25 foot larger range

R39. Loot Them While They’re Warm <Tactic> Upon dealing a killing blow you gain 15 more Holy Relic points

R40. Frenzied Slaughter <Archtype Morale 4> All of your abilities will cost 25% fewer action points, cool down 50% faster, and deal 20% more damage for 7 seconds.

R40. Prophetess’s Cloak <Core Ability> You are surrounded by a powerful aegis that reduces the amount of damage you take by 20% for 8 seconds. This ability costs 15 Holy Relic Points. 40AP, Instant Cast, 40s CD

R3. Scourge of the Land <Tactic> Harrow deals 20% more damage

R5. Knight’s Talisman – You use a powerful talisman you scavenged off a fallen Grail Knight and your chance to parry is increased by 10% for 10 seconds. This ability costs 15 Holy Relic Points. 30AP, Instant Cast, 30s CD

R7. Crusades Veteran <Tactic> Your melee power is increased by 30

R9. Basilisk Skin – You slam your weapon into your enemy gaining the enchantment of a basilisks skin; you deal ‘x’ damage and your toughness is increased by ‘x’ for 10 seconds. At 25 Holy Relic points your toughness is increased by an additional ‘x’; for each additional 25 Holy Relic points the value of the buff is increased by ‘x’. 30AP, Instant Cast, 10s CD

R11. Skin of Stone <Tactic> Basilisk skin lasts 30 seconds

R13. Crusader’s Blessing – You gain the blessing of the knights of Bretonnia and deal ‘x’ damage to your enemy if they are under 20% health, otherwise you deal ‘x’ damage. This ability costs 20 Holy Relic points. 35AP, Instant Cast, 3s CD

R15. Maul of Supremacy <Morale 4> You steal up to 200 Action Points from your enemy and stop their Action Point regeneration for 5 seconds

Fanatic

R3. Critical Blood Loss <Tactic> Internal Rupture will deal a burst of ‘x’ corporeal damage at the end

R5. Lock of Lady’s Hair – You use the ‘Holy Relic’ of the Lady’s hair and decrease your chance to be critically hit by 10% for 10 seconds. This ability costs 15 Holy Relic points. 30AP, Instant Cast, 30s CD

R7. Golden Strands <Tactic> Lock of Lady’s Hair also reduces incoming damage by 10%

R9. Crusader’s Gauntlet – You arm yourself with a gauntlet from a fallen knight and smash into your enemy dealing ‘x’ damage and increasing your armor by ‘x’ for 10 seconds. At 25 Holy Relic points the value of the buff is increased by ‘x’; for each additional 25 Holy Relic points the value is increased by an additional ‘x’. 35AP, Instant Cast, 10s CD

R11. Zealous Drive <Tactic> Your chance to critically hit with melee attacks is increased by 7%

R13. Plagues of Nehekara – You call upon a ‘Holy Relic’ from the lands of the undead and hit your target. Your target is infected with a gruesome plague, he and all allies within 30 feet of him take ‘x’ damage every second for 12 seconds. This ability costs 20 Holy Relic points. 35AP, Instant Cast, 10s CD

R15. Pilgrim’s Fury <Morale 4> You swing your weapon in a full circle dealing 1200 damage to all enemies within 35 feet of you.

Plunderer

R3. Spiked Hammer <Tactic> Mail Crusher will now ignore 50% of your target’s armor

R5. Dragon Talon – You use the ‘Holy Relic’ to increase your armor penetration by 10% for 10 seconds. This ability costs 15 Holy Relics. 30AP, Instant Cast, 30s CD

R7. Knight Killer <Tactic> Dragon Talon will now have a 15% armor penetration bonus.

R9. Scourge of Araby – You get behind your enemy ready for the kill. You hit them dealing ‘x’ damage and reduce their intelligence and willpower by ‘x’ for 15 seconds. At 25 Holy Relic points the amount of intelligence and willpower reduced is increased by ‘x’; for each additional 25 Holy Relic points the amount reduced is increased by an additional ‘x’.Target must be facing away from you. 30AP, Instant Cast, 10s CD

R11. No Fair Fighter <Tactic> Kidney Blow and Powdered Pox no longer require your target to be facing away from you

R13. Sigmar’s Hammer – You claim to have the very hammer Sigmar used at the Battle of Black Fire Pass and slam it into your opponent dealing ‘x’ damage and knocking them down for 3 seconds. Target must be facing away from you. This ability costs 20 Holy Relic points. 30AP, Instant Cast, 15s CD

R15. Dwarven Doomstriker <Morale 4> You got your hands on the weapon of a fallen Oathbearer and crush your opponents armor with it, decreasing your target’s armor by 25% for 15 seconds.
