Highlights
General Changes and Bug Fixes

  • All NPCs have been reset to fix many NPCs which were stuck in locations they were not intended to be in. This will also fix NPCs in Public Quests which were not respawning.
  • All NPCs have had their aggro tables reset, fixing an issue where Order NPCs would show hostile to Order players or Destruction NPCs would show hostile to Destruction players.
  • Fixed an issue where NPCs would spawn on top of tents instead of inside of them.
  • Barak Varr’s map has been updated to give a cut-out of the Port of Barak Varr to allow players to better navigate the Dwarven city.
  • Players now have the option to skip flight animations in their options menu.
Content
-Dungeons/Encounters
  • All dungeons have had maps added to them which can be unlocked as you explore the dungeon.
  • All dungeons which drop class specific gear will now only drop pieces for the classes present in the encounter.
  • All dungeons which drop repairable gear have had their drop rate increased.
  • Hunter’s Vale
    • This dungeon has had its level cap increased to 15 to accommodate population shifts.
    • Fixed an issue where players could terrain glitch behind the entire first portion of this dungeon
  • Mount Gunbad
    • The drop-rate for Redeye gear from the three wing bosses has been increased to two per boss.
    • Fixed an issue where lockouts would not be issued after defeating Masta Mixa and Solithex
  • Bastion Stair
    • The drop-rate for Bloodlord gear from all bosses has been increased to two pieces per boss.
    • The Brass Legion PQ has been changed so that the doors can be opened without completing the stage of the PQ.
    • Encounters no longer require influence to be accessible.
    • Healers have been added after every public quest.
    • Kaarn the Vanquisher has been fixed so he displays less of an erratic stance-changing manner.
  • Sigmar’s Crypts
    • Fixed an issue where Seraphina Pale Eye would glitch out on a player and not unlock the gate to the Arch Lectors Chamber.
    • Fixed an issue where players could receive more Sentinel Shoulders than intended by killing the chest with an Engineer Turret or War Lion.
  • Warpblade Tunnels
    • This dungeon has seen a slight reduction in NPCs to be equal in difficulty to the Bloodwrought Enclave.
  • Lost Vale
    • Fixed an issue with Dralel the Whitefire Matron which would cause her to pause upon being engaged and then act erratically. This NPC should now path smoothly after whoever has aggro.
    • Improvements have been made to the terrain to prevent players from glitching around the Blackwillow Forest by swimming around the water.
    • Fixed and issue with Butcher Gutbeater where players could pull aggro from beyond his chamber and glitch him out on the wall. Healing abilities will no longer pass through the walls of his chamber.
    • Fixed an issue with the Pure of Heart Quest that was preventing it from progressing beyond Horgulul
    • Fixed an issue where Sechar the Darkpromise Chieftain could be killed by a friendly NPC and not generate a lockout timer for the players. Irregardless of who kills Sechar, players will now receive a lockout for his death.
    • Fixed an issue where players would erroneously receive lockout timers for bosses they had not yet killed.
    • Fixed an issue where N’Kari’s Devastate ability would persist after the death of the Demonettes of Slaanesh.
  • Tomb of the Vulture Lord
    • This encounter now requires Superior Wards
    • Tyrant gear now offers Excelsior Wards
    • Fixed an issue where players could master loot items from bosses to players who entered the encounter after the boss had died.
    • Fixed an issue with the doors within the Encounter, they will now automatically open once all players are within the lobby.
    • Fixed an issue that was preventing players from releasing up on death within the encounter.
    • Fixed an issue where NPCs in the Regiment of Khsar PQ would glitch into the walls.
    • Fixed an issue with the Dart Trap and Fire Trap that was causing it to shut off when a player died and released.
    • Fixed an issue in the Usirian’s Vault PQ which was causing Usirian’s Keeper to get caught on the braziers in the center of the room and path erratically.
    • Fixed an issue in the Usirian’s Vault PQ which prevented players plundered loot from converting after Usirian’s Keeper had been defeated.
    • Fixed an issue in the Sepulcher of Swords that was causing players area of effect abilities to pull aggro through walls and across the room.
    • Fixed an issue in the Sepulcher of Swords which was causing the High Priest Herakh to behave incorrectly on the z-axis when aggro had been pulled by someone at a different elevation.
    • Fixed an issue in the Sepulcher of Swords which was causing the High Priest Herakh to float across the river in the room to the other side, he should now correctly path across the bridges in the room.
    • Fixed an issue in the Sepulcher of Swords which was causing the High Priest Herakh’s health to display incorrectly and reset.
    • Fixed an issue in the Ossuary of the Annointed which was allowing players to glitch out the High Priest of Herakh on the stairs and prevent him from doing damage. The High Priest Herakh will now path correctly up the stairs to engage players above him.
    • Fixed an issue in the Hall of Awakening which was causing a Champion’s guard to persist after he had died.
    • Fixed an issue in the Hall of Awakening which was preventing the Phylactery and Golden ward from appearing upon entering the room.
    • Fixed an issue in the Sepulcher of Eternity which was causing NPCs to glitch into the walls. There are now more hostile mobs present in the first stage of this PQ; they will be removed after the PQ proceeds to the second stage.
    • Fixed an issue in the Sepulcher of Eternity which was causing players to fall through the floor and die if they had been standing on a pillar while it was changing positions.
    • Fixed an issue in the Sepulcher of Eternity which was causing the bosses to receive the incorrect number of buffs.
    • The amount of buffs in the Sepulcher of Eternity has been lowered to 6.
    • Fixed an issue in the Sepulcher of Eternity which was allowing players to bug out the bosses by abusing the z-axis and standing on braziers.
    • Fixed an issue in the Sepulcher of Dominion which was allowing players to bug out the Uncles of the King and prevent them from casting abilities by abusing the z-axis.
    • Fixed an issue with the vultures in the stairway to the Chamber of the Vulture Lord that was causing them to path erratically and instantly pick up players and drop them without players having a chance to react.
    • Fixed an issue in the Chamber of the Vulture Lord that was preventing the Vulture Lord from casting his abilities if the party was affected by abilities that prevented crowd control.
    • The Tyrant Chest is now available for purchase with 12 Funerary Masks.
  • Tomb of the Sun
    • Fixed an issue where the boss of the encounter would not engage the players if he was engaged at maximum melee range.
  • Thanquol’s Incursion
    • Skeetk’s Warp-lightning Energy has had its duration reduced to 30 seconds.
    • Fixed an issue where players would not receive the proper buff after killing Thanquol’s Cloud of Corruption.
    • The amount of gold bags for the second and third stage of this encounter has been increased to 4.
    • This instance now has a map.
    • This instance will no longer randomly pop, but will be directly tied to the events in Tier 4. Players may now enter Thanquol’s Incursion through the gate in the captured keep. Once a keep has been captured, players have 1 minute to enter Thanquol’s Incursion through the gate. The realm which lost control of its keep will have a gate appear in their warcamp allowing them to enter Thanquol’s Incursion.
-Tome of Knowledge
  • The ‘Cards’ Section has been removed from the Rewards tab.
  • Fixed an issue which was allowing Order players from unlocking Destruction chapters, and vice versa.
  • Fixed an issue where the High Elf Storyline had several bubbles after the 22nd chapter.
  • Fixed multiple issues regarding warcamps and their associated zone Objectives.
  • Fixed an issue where players who had interacted with broken unlocks before they were fixed could not receive the unlock after it had been fixed.
  • A check has gone through all bestial unlocks ensuring that they are still accessible. Unlocks which were never introduced have been removed.
  • The Achievements section of the Tome of Knowledge has been updated to only show unknown unlocks which are complete-able by that realm (i.e. Order players will no longer see unknown bubbles for an unlock which only Destruction players can achieve and vice versa).
  • History and Lore unlocks in Nordland and Norsca which became unachievable once the changes to the Chapter 1 Storyline and the New User Journey were implemented are once again made available to players.
  • Fixed an issue with the crates for the third step for the ‘Missions of Mercy’ Pursuit unlock which were under ground.
  • Pursuit unlocks will display better clues as to the location of the next unlock.
  • The NPC respawn rate for ‘Stirring Up Trouble’ has been increased in Chapters 1 and 2 of the Empire storyline.
  • The alter spawn rate for the ‘Random Sacrifices’ unlock has been increased.
  • The third unachievable task for ‘Dead in the Water’ has been removed for both realms.
  • The second step of ‘Subversion’ can now be achieved by Order players by obtaining the tower key from the appropriate NPC by talking to him.
  • The ‘Dirty Dealings’ Pursuit unlock has been updated.
  • The ‘Raiders’ Pursuit unlock will now properly unlock when a player enters the area associated with it.
  • The ‘Visions’ unlock will now properly unlock when a player enters the area associated with it.
  • ‘Come One, Come All’ will now properly unlock for players who are with members of other races. Stages which are unavailable to players due to race restrictions will not show up in their Tome of Knowledge.
  • The crystal for theĀ  ‘Gateway to Ultimate Knowledge’ unlock can once again be interacted with players and not attacked.
  • The spawn rate for Urhu Riphorn for the ‘Riphorn Challenge’ unlock has been increased.
  • ‘The Creator’ unlock will now properly display for Order players.
  • ‘Da Big ‘Un’ unlock will now properly display for Order players.
  • The graves for the Lair of the Defiler will once again appear in the Tome of Knowledge’s Achievements page, and no longer go to a page listed as ‘no need to translate this page’.
  • The missing grave of Xavier Nuhr has been returned once more to its location.

-Lairs

  • Lairs will now display respawn timers for bosses that have been killed, allowing players to know when to return instead of guessing at the respawn rate.
  • Respawn rates for lair bosses have been decreased significantly.
  • The bosses in Frostshard Prison will spawn at a faster, more reasonable rate.
  • Rewards from lair bosses have been improved to give them significance in the changing atmosphere of Warhammer Online.
  • Unlocks for ‘Live Event Lairs’ have now been moved to their appropriate zone pairing sections.
  • The Lair of Kamilla will once again give an unlock for players who approach this lair.
  • Fixed an issue which was preventing Old Oozeback from respawning.
-Public Quests
  • All public quests have had their stage one tasks re-adjusted and lowered.
  • Gold bags in Public Quests now have an option of two pieces players can choose from.
  • Witch Fire Glade has had its mob respawn locations redone so the mobs do not leash. The NPCs for this PQ should now correctly spawn and remain at the PQ site.
  • Fixed an issue with Black Orc Slog, NPCs will no longer path into walls and the walls of this location will be solid.
  • Destruction players can no longer interact with any NPCs within the Ebon Keep.
  • Fixed an issue with Unlikely Allies where the boss at the end would behave erratically.
  • Ruins of Anlec – Stage 2 for this Public Quest has had its duration slightly increased.
  • Tor Elyr – Fixed an issues where players could get stuck under the orbs Sorceress Korthusa deploys.
  • Darthain Forest – Stage 2 for this Public Quest has had its time reduced.
  • Stormriver’s End – The NPCs for this Public Quest should now properly spawn and not remain underground.
  • Blind Justice – Eltharion the Grim’s damage has been reduced.
  • Bar Dawazback – NPCs have had their spawn points redone so Order NPCs do not spawn inside the walls
  • Peak’s Edge – Fixed an issue where the Sub-PQs prompts would not appear and they could not be completed.
  • Gutbash Tribe Stronghold – This PQ’s prompts have been updated and should properly display the tasks that need to be achieved.
  • The Cult of Drakk – The requirements for stage 1 of this Destruction version of this PQ are clearer.
  • Reichert’s Raiders – Stage 2 of this PQ has been modified so hostile NPCs do not steal your gold and less gold is required.
  • Da Great Smashin’ Pit – Victory conditions for the survival stages of this PQ are clearer.
  • Ambush Canyon – Players have more time to prepare for stage 2 of this PQ.

-Quests

  • Quest experience has been rescaled across all tiers. Experience granted from quests has been increased to keep pace with the chapter storylines.
  • Rewards for Quests have been updated to give them significance in the changing atmosphere of Warhammer Online.
  • The Thrall for ‘Chasing Oathgold’ will no longer spawn inside a pillar which was preventing players from killing it and continuing the quest.
  • Goontz the Maniacal has been added to the Alchemy Lab wing of Mount Gunbad so players can kill him for the ‘Finding Phineas’ quest.
  • Fixed an issue where the Mushroom Ale for ‘Mouth of Miasma’ was spawning underground, preventing players from finding it.
  • More NPCs have been added to Altdorf who qualify for the ‘Sky’s the Limit’ quest
Items
-Crafting Changes
  • The drop rate for blue seeds has been increased.
Art
-Zone Updates
  • The art for several features has been smoothed out (such as fences, barrels, boxes, plants) to decrease the chances that a player will get stuck on them. If a player does get stuck, their toon will be bumped up on top of the art feature instead of being killed.
  • Outer Walls for several keeps have been updated so stairs from towers properly align with the walls.
  • Fixed an issue where player’s camera’s would pan outside the walls of the Inner Keeps of Chaos keeps when running up the inner stairs.
  • Fixed an issue where the Grand Theogonist Volkmar’s face would change every city instance.
  • Fixed an issue with High Elf tent graphics and their shading.
  • Fixed an issue with a tree in Praag which was hovering in the air.
  • Fixed an issue with the art of the Monolith in the Inevitable City. The lightning strikes will no longer turn the textures of the Monolith into blank white squares.
-Updated Armor Dyes
  • Fixed an issue where Baddab Black would remove texture from armor.
  • Further improvements have been made to armor set dyes leading to cleaner dyed areas.
-New Heads and Hairs
  • New faces and hair-styles have been introduced for the Dwarf classes.
  • New faces and teeth/ears have been introduced for the Greenskin classes.
-Equipment
  • Fixed an issue where players could choose the art for armor from other classes as an alternate appearance. Every race should now have the correct shoulder-pieces.
  • Fixed several icons for weapons and art pieces. The icons should now better match the equipment.
  • Players now have the option to disable auras around epic weapons.

-General

  • Fixed an issue where character’s hair, shoulders, and capes would not lay properly. Hair will now lay over the cape, and the cape will lay over the shoulders, for a cleaner look.
  • Fixed an issue where elven characters with long hair would have it stick out their helmet. Players now have the option to hide their hair when wearing a helm or hood.

User Interface

-Guild & Alliance
  • Slots for Guild Trophies have been removed from the Guild Interface.
  • Fixed an issue where Event descriptions would get cut off from Guild/Alliance events.
  • A log has been added to Guild Vaults so Guild officers can see transactions.
  • The Demon Moon Rising Live Event from 2009 has been removed from Guild Calendars

    Every single PvE bug we ever experienced weather we exploited it for personal gain or cursed it for its evil in one long post. Hopefully Mythic will compare notes and actaully try fixing some of these things.

    Again…wonderful job…took me a bit to finish reading all the changes…but if taken into account I would love to run Sigmars,Warpblade,BS,LV,and TOVL..

        Also, a Chosen wearing a WH tux is bloody epic. So is a DoK wearing WL armor. I’m firmly agaist fixing such intentionally “broken” items. Zealots wearing BW gear are cute. I miss my bugged twohander-modelled hammer on my mara. It got fixed and is now UGLY. GIVE IT BACK!

    They removed my SW’s Axe-Bow and my Bow-Sword that let me look like a WL or a dual wielding SW (A man can pretend, can’t he?!)

    So no broken item graphics for you!
