Phoenix Guard – High Elf HDPS

Their greatest sacrifice came in the time before the Sundering, when Malekith sought to claim the right of the Phoenix King and assaulted the Shrine of Asuryan. In the battle that ensued many noble princes of Ulthuan were slain, but the Phoenix Guard gave their lives in the defense of the most holy shrine. They will not easily forget the gravest offense Malekith committed against Asuryan.”

Mechanic – Asuryan’s Resolve

  • You fight with Asuryan to fuel your actions. You have a meter of 0-100 Asuryan’s Resolve. Your abilities either build or consume Asuryan’s Resolve. Every 20 Asuryan’s Resolve your damage is increased by 4%, for a total of 20% damage increase at 100 Asuryan’s Resolve, and your chance to critically hit by 2%, for a total of 10% critical hit bonus at 100 Asuryan’s resolve; however your magical resistances are decreased by 5%, for a total penalty of 25% magical resistance at 100 Asuryan’s Resolve.

Mastery Trees

  • Aenarion – A focus on dealing damage to a single target.
  • Tethlis – A focus on wide-spread damage.
  • Caledor – A focus on weakening your enemies.

R1. Dagger Toss <Core Ability> A basic throwing attack that inflicts ‘x’ damage. 20AP, 1s Cast, No CD, 65ft Range

R1. Heavy Blade <Aenarion> You bring down your halberd upon your enemy dealing ‘x’ damage. This ability builds 10 Asuryan’s Resolve. 30AP, Instant Cast, No CD

R2. Torn Chest <Aenarion> You swipe your halberd across your enemy’s torso leaving an open wound which deals ‘x’ damage every second for 4 seconds. This ability builds 10 Asuryan’s Resolve. 30AP, Instant Cast, No CD.

R3. Knee-Slicer <Caledor> You cut at your enemy’s knees causing them to take ‘x’ damage and reducing their movement speed by 40% for 5 seconds. This ability builds 10 Asuryan’s Resolve. 30AP, Instant Cast, 10s CD.

R4. Narrow Quarters <Tethlis> You swing your halberd in a narrow pattern dealing ‘x’ damage to up to three targets within 25 feet of you. This ability builds 15 Asuryan’s Resolve. 35 AP, Instant Cast, 3s CD.

R5. Eye of the Defenders <Caledor> Asuryan’s rage fills your attack as you slam your weapon into your opponent dealing ‘x’ damage and reducing their morale by 100 points. This ability costs 15 Asuryan’s Resolve. No Cost, Instant Cast, 10s CD.

R6. Circling Strike <Aenarion> You spin your halberd in a tight circle as you march forward at your enemy; your chance to parry attacks is increased by 5% for 10 seconds. This ability costs 15 Asuryan’s Resolve. No Cost, Instant Cast, 10s CD.

R7. Precision Cleave <Tethlis> You swing your weapon with deadly accuracy striking up to 6 targets 30 feet in front of you for ‘x’ damage. This ability builds 5 Asuryan’s Resolve per target hit. 40AP, Instant Cast, 3s CD.

R8. Collarbone Crush <Caledor> You smash your halberd on your enemy’s shoulders dealing ‘x’ damage and increasing the cool-downs of their abilities by 2 seconds, this effect lasts 8 seconds. This ability builds 10 Asuryan’s Resolve. 35AP, Instant Cast, 10s CD.

R8. Definitive Halt <Archetype Morale 1> You slam your weapon into the ground, reducing the movement speed of your target by 50% for 10 seconds, your target must be within 30 feet of you.

R9. Belly Splitter <Tethlis> You swipe your halberd low across the stomachs of your foes causing up to 8 targets within 30 feet to take ‘x’ damage every second for 6 seconds. This ability builds 5 Asuryan’s Resolve per target hit. 45 AP, Instant Cast, 5s CD.

R10. Burn of the Phoenix <Core Ability> Detaunts all enemies within 30 feet, making them to hate you less and causing them to deal 50% less damage to you for 15 seconds. If you attack anyone you have detaunted, the effect will immediately end. 20AP, Instant Cast, 15s CD

R10. Shatter Guard <Core Ability> You slam your weapon into the enemy tank causing them to take ‘x’ damage and removing the Guard effect they have on an ally. 30AP, Instant Cast, 10s CD

R11. Centuries of Training <Racial Tactic> Upon striking a target with a direct damage ability there is a 25% chance to inflict an additional 252 Spirit damage over 3 seconds.

R12. Burn Through the Bonds <Core Ability> Asuryan frees you of any snares or roots that may be holding you down. For the next 10 seconds, snares and roots will have no effect on you. 45AP, Instant Cast, 60s CD

R12. Force of Will <Archetype Morale 2> You stare down your opponent draining 200 of their Action Points into yourself, and reducing their strength by 160 for 30 seconds.

R13. Heavy Plating <Archetype Tactic> Your physical armor cap is increased by 5% but your damage output is reduced by 10%.

R14. Back Piercer <Aenarion> You cut into your enemy’s back ignoring 50% of their armor dealing ‘x’ damage. Target must be facing away from you. This ability builds 10 Asuryan’s Resolve. 40AP, Instant Cast, No CD.

R15. Dizzy Foe <Tactic> Circling Strikes’ parry buff is increased to 10%.

R16. Determined Guardian <Archetype Morale 1> You gain a 1200 damage absorb shield.

R16. Arm Breaker <Caledor> You bring the back of your halberd down on your enemy’s arm breaking it; you deal ‘x’ damage to your target and reduce the range of their ranged abilities by 50 feet for 15 seconds. This ability costs 10 Asuryan’s Resolve. No Cost, Instant Cast, 10s CD.

R17. Bend the Winds <Racial Tactic> Increases your elemental resistance by 252.

R18. Empowered By Judgement <Core Ability> You consume all your Asuryan’s Resolve and gain 10 Action Points per 10 Asuryan’s Resolve consumed. No Cost, Instant Cast, 60s CD

R19. Tempered Blade <Archetype Tactic> Increases your Weapon Skill by ‘x’.

R20. Furious Onslaught <Archetype Morale 2> Your auto-attack speed is increased by 50% for 15 seconds.

R20. Whirlwind of Eataine <Tethlis> You spin around dealing ‘x’ damage to all enemies within 30 feet of you. This ability costs 25 Asuryan’s Resolve. No Cost, Instant Cast, No CD.

R21. Masterful Defense <Tactic> Anytime you parry an attack, you gain 10 Action Points.

R23. Discerning Offense <Racial Tactic> Your attacks have a 10% reduced chance to be defended against.

R24. Inspirational Aura <Archetype Morale 3> Your group’s Action Point regeneration is increased by 20% for 20 seconds if they are within 100 feet of you.

R25. Gromril Splintmail <Archetype Tactic> You take 20% less damage from targets within 30 feet of you.

R25. For the Phoenix King! <Aenarion> You attack your target dealing ‘x’ damage and filling you with a new-found strength; your strength is increased by ‘x’ for 10 seconds. This ability costs 25 Asuryan’s Resolve. No cost, Instant Cast, 10s CD.

R27. Deeper Impacts <Tactic> Precision Cleave affects 4 more enemies but costs 10 Action Points more.

R28. Pursuit <Phoenix Guard Morale 1> Your speed is increased by 15% for 10 seconds.

R29. Tranquil Defender <Archetype Tactic> You are immune to knockbacks.

R30. Blunt Attack<Caledor> You bring the flat side of your halberd down on your enemy’s skull causing all their abilities to cost 20% more action points for 10 seconds. This ability costs 20 Asuryan’s Resolve. No Cost, Instant Cast, 10s CD.

R31. Finubar’s Elite <Tactic> For the Phoenix King! lasts 10 seconds longer and costs 5 Asuryan’s Resolve less.

R32. Goring Assault <Phoenix Guard Morale 2> You deal 1,400 damage to your target.

R33. Rattled Mind <Tactic> Blunt Attack will now increase the cost of your enemy’s abilities by 33% and costs 10 Asuryan’s Resolve less.

R35. Knee High <Tactic> Belly Splitter deals 400% more damage to goblins.

R35. Aegis of Asuryan <Core Ability> For the next 10 seconds you are immune to all crowd control effects. 50 AP, Instant Cast, 60s CD.

R36. Flight of the Phoenix King <CM3> You leap up to 60 feet to your target and cause them to take 600 damage.

R37. Vaul’s Armguards <Tactic> If you are disarmed, you gain a 800 absorb shield for 4 seconds.

R39. Voice of Asuryan <Tactic>All abilities that build Asuryan’s Resolve generate 5 more Asuryan’s Resolve but now cost 5 Action Points more.

R40. Storm of Blades <Archetype Morale> You deal 1,800 damage to all enemies within 30 feet of you.

R40. Birth of the Eternal Flame <Tethlis> Your halberd is charged with the fires of Asuryan as you swing it hitting up to 8 targets 35 feet in front of you; every target hit is filled with the purifying fires of Asuryan and they receive an ailment for 8 seconds. All targets affected by the Birth of the Eternal Flame will suffer ‘x’ elemental damage every second for 8 seconds and damage up to 8 allies within 30 feet for the same amount of damage. This ability costs 60 Asuryan’s Resolve. No Cost, Instant Cast, 20s CD.

R3. Subconscious Drive <Tactic> Heavy Blade builds 10 more Asuryan’s Resolve but deals 15% less damage.a

R5. Shield Scorcher – Your halberd is charged with the penetrating powers of the flame as you attack your target dealing ‘x’ damage. This ability has a 25% lower chance to be blocked. This ability builds 25 Asuryan’s Resolve if attacking a tank. 30 AP, Instant Cast, 3s CD.

R7. Halberd Mastery <Tactic> Your chance to critically hit with melee attacks is increased by 5%

R9. Graceful Thrust – You skillfully twist your halberd upon making contact with your enemy’s weapon. You deal ‘x’ damage to your target and disarm them for 4 seconds. This ability costs 25 Asuryan’s Resolve. No Cost, Instant Cast, 15s CD.

R11. Hoeth’s Guidance <Tactic> Shield Scorcher has an additional 10% lower chance to be blocked.

R13. Demigod Destroyer – Aenarion fills the power of your attack as you strike your enemy dealing ‘x’ damage. This ability costs 40 Asuryan’s Resolve. No Cost, Instant Cast, 5s CD.

R15. Caradryan’s Guidance <Morale 4> You deal 2,500 damage to your target.

Tethlis
R3. Backlash <Tactic> Narrow Quarters hits your targets twice.

R5. Strength of the Phoenix – You are filled with the strength of the Phoenix, your toughness is increased by ‘x’ for every enemy within 25  feet of you for 10 seconds. This ability costs 20 Asuryan’s Resolve. No Cost, Instant Cast, 15s CD.

R7. Dry, Withered Soul <Tactic> Birth of the Eternal Flame  deals 25% more damage.

R9. The Phoenix Descends – You channel the wrath of Asuryan down on yourself for 10 seconds dealing ‘x’ elemental damage to all players within 25 feet of you, including allies. This ability costs 10 Asuryan’s Resolve per second. No Cost, 10s Cast, 20s CD.

R11. The Pure Are Saved <Tactic> The Phoenix Descends and the Phoenix Trail  no longer harm allies.

R13. Phoenix Trail – You strike the ground and unleash the fires of Asuryan upon all those up to 100 feet in front of you dealing ‘x’ elemental damage per second for 6 seconds. This ability costs 15 Asuryan’s Resolve per second. No Cost, 6s Cast, 15s CD.

R15. Slayer of the Dark Kin <Morale 4> You deal 1000 damage to all enemies within 35 feet of you.

Caledor
R3. Re-torn Wound <Tactic> Knee-Slicer has a 25% chance to reapply itself when it ends.

R5. Selected for Judgment – You strike your target  marking them as damned by Asuryan. You deal ‘x’ damage to your target and increase the amount of damage they take by 15%  for 10 seconds. This ability builds 10 Asuryan’s Resolve. 35 AP, Instant Cast, 10s CD.

R7. Sigil of Doom <Tactic> Selected for Judgment’s incoming damage is increased to 25% but it now costs 15 Asuryan’s Resolve  instead of building 10 Asuryan’s Resolve

R9. Foe of the Phoenix – You strike your enemy marking them as an enemy of Asuryan. You deal ‘x’ damage to your target and increase their chance to be critically hit by 10% for 10 seconds. This ability costs 20 Asuryan’s Resolve. No Cost, Instant Cast, 10s CD.

R11. Dance of the Dragon and the Phoenix <Tactic> All Caledor abilities now deal elemental damage.

R13. Repel Dark Magics – You surround your target with a pure aegis which repels dark magic. You deal ‘x’ damage to your target and reduce the effectiveness of incoming heals by 50% for 10s. This ability costs 20 Asuryan’s Resolve. No cost, Instant Cast, 10s CD.

R15. All Consuming Flame <Morale 4> You strike your target and drain them of all their action points and morale and prevent them from regaining any action points or morale for 5 seconds.
